Building on the success of last year’s show, Multihog UK Ltd are set to use the UK’s largest grounds maintenance event of the year to launch their smallest and latest model of compact, road legal and articulated multi-purpose tractor units.
SALTEX is expected to attract in excess of 8,000 landscaping and horticultural professionals as well as more than 300 exhibitions to the NEC Birmingham from the 2nd and 3rd of November, 2016.
Historically, Hogs have always been hydraulically powered, however, the latest Multihog model allows for an additional mechanical PTO shaft and 3-point linkage enabling the machine to be used with any traditional tractor attachments in your existing fleet.
The innovative Multihog CX range is available in both 55HP and 75HP ultra-efficient Kohler engines (Tier IV Final) whilst also benefiting from high hydraulic performance of up to 100 litres flow per minute.
Measuring from just 1130mm wide and only 1950mm high with same track pivot steer and two-stage differential lock with four-wheel drive access and manoeuvrability has never been so simple.
The ROPS tests cab benefits from 360⁰ visibility whilst front and rear spring suspension with air suspended driver seat and air conditioning provides comfort and unsurpassed safety.
Areas of application include grounds, footway and winter maintenance as well as drainage and street cleansing, with safety ensured through front mounted mower and mini planer, hedge cutter and hydraulic snow plough attachments as well as rear mounted water, gritter, de-icer and suction sweeper tanks.
The newly developed triple-gang Multi Mower attachment, allowing one mower to complete three different cutting applications, will also be especially exhibited for SALTEX - designed and developed by bespoke, precision engineer company Cardley Bingham.
Left and right mowing units of the Multi Mower can be raised and lowered hydraulically to allow for increased access into tight areas whilst each cutting head is interchangeable for cylinder mowing, flailing as well as scarifying.
Multihog are also using the opportunity to reveal their latest rear de-mountable hot water weed killing system from Cardley Wave – using 100% hot water.
